France, in Western Europe, encompasses medieval cities, alpine villages and Mediterranean beaches. Paris, its capital, is famed for its fashion houses, classical art museums including the Louvre and monuments like the Eiffel Tower. The country is also renowned for its wines and sophisticated cuisine. Lascaux\u2019s ancient cave drawings, Lyon\u2019s Roman theater and the vast Palace of Versailles attest to its rich history.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s dive into a\u00a0culture<\/strong>\u00a0broth!\u00a0Museums<\/strong>\u00a0are full of them, but not just them. We will hunt down the plaques bearing the name of the streets of Paris and look for their history on Paristique, then descend into the\u00a0catacombs<\/strong>\u00a0to discover the bowels of the city. On the slopes of the Croix-Rousse in Lyon, we will debate the status of\u00a0graffiti<\/strong>\u00a0as a work of art. In Bordeaux we will have the choice between\u00a0theatre, cinema and concerts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From the\u00a0Sacred Heart<\/strong>, we will have the greatest monuments of Paris at our feet: the\u00a0Eiffel Tower<\/strong>, Notre-Dame and the\u00a0Pantheon<\/strong>\u00a0of Great Men. In fine weather, we may also see the\u00a0Mont-Saint-Michel<\/strong>, the\u00a0City of Carcassonne<\/strong>, the\u00a0Palace of the Popes<\/strong>,\u00a0Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde<\/strong>\u00a0in Marseille, the\u00a0traboules<\/strong>\u00a0of Old Lyon, the arenas of N\u00eemes and the castle of Chambord. If not, we\u2019ll get there.<\/p>\n
