Itinerary

1st day Athens – panoramic city tour

Arrival at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. Our transfer will be waiting for you at the airport. After boarding our luxurious vehicle, sit back and relax as the driver transports you to the center of Athens for a panoramic tour showing the highlights of the city. We will see the Hadrian’s Arch and the Temple of Zeus and after to the Constitution square called "Syntagma" where the presidential guard, called "Evzonos", is in front of the Greek parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then we will pass by the Presidential Residence and the Panathinaikos stadium that was originally built in 329aC, where the first Olympics of the modern era in 1896 were held. Dinner and transfer to the Hotel for check in. Overnight in Athens. (Dinner)

2nd day Athens - Santorini

Breakfast and transfer to the airport of Athens to take our flight to Santorini, which is one of the most outstanding places of the world. Santorini this time of the year is peaceful and romantic, nothing like the Santorini you may experience in the warm months. Maybe this is the best time to visit Santorini armed with a professional camera. Shots like these are rare, especially when you want them unperturbed by visitors. Transfer to the Hotel. In the evening we will have a walking tour in Fira. Overnight in Santorini. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

3rd day Santorini – Traditional villages

Breakfast and we will explore the center of the island. The first stop of the tour is the 16th century Monastery of Prophet Elias which was built on the highest point of the Island 567 meters above sea level. From there you will have a panoramic view of the whole island. After Prophet Elias we will continue to the village of Pyrgos, with its Cycladic architecture, Byzantine churches and a Venetian Castle. The village is one of the highest points of the Island and the view is amazing - overlooking the North West part of Santorini. After lunch, visit the traditional village of Oia which is on the northern tip of the island, high on the cliff top. Oia hosts the most magnificent views of Santorini and a picturesque road with cliffs on one side and sea on the other; leads to this attractive village typical of Santorini’s architecture with houses sunk deep into the volcanic soil, their whitewashed walls and blue domes sparkling in the sunlight. 4th day Santorini - Athens airport – Delphi

Breakfast and transfer to Santorini airport to take the flight to Athens. Arrive at Athens airport and transfer to Delphi. There we will explore the most famous sights of ancient Greece on this day trip to magical Delphi, where the oracle once fore. When we arrive at Delphi we will visit the famous theatre, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and get an insight into the world of the Ancient Greeks. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the center of Ancient Greece, and best-known for its famous oracle. Tour the Museum of Delphi, home to a unique bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx, and the Statue of Antinoos, providing an amazing insight into Ancient Greek culture and history. Lunch. Dinner. 5th day: Delphi – Parnassos ski resort – Delphi

Breakfast and transfer to the ski resort of the mount of Arachova, Parnassos, which is one of the largest ski resorts in the country, a destination of unspoiled natural beauty and a village with a lively cosmopolitan vibe. Lunch. Then transfer to hotel. Dinner. Overnight Delphi. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

6th day: Delphi – Karpenisi – Delphi

Breakfast and transfer to the ski center of Karpenisi. Then transfer to the village of Karpenisi, which sits on the mountain of Timfristos, in the central Greece. There we will take a walk around the square to see the monuments, the statues of Antonis Katsantonis and Markos Botsaris (heroes of the 1821 Greek Revolution), the church of Agia Triada and the plane trees and icy mountain-water spring. Lunch. Make a stop at Palaio Mikro Chorio (translated Old Small Village), it’s a description that perfectly fits this printersquare nature of the settlement. Then transfer to Delphi. Dinner. 7th day Delphi - Athens

Breakfast and transfer to Athens. Arrival in Athens and get ready for the most amazing city tour through history and gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city!! First stop, Acropolis with the Architectural Masterpieces in the world of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Only 300m. away from the sacred rock of Acropolis stands the impressive New Acropolis Museum where at last 4000 priceless statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era. Lunch.
