Itinerary

1st day Athens – panoramic city tour

Arrival at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. Our transfer will be waiting for you at the airport. After boarding our luxurious vehicle, sit back and relax as the driver transports you to the center of Athens for a panoramic tour showing the highlights of the city. We will see the Hadrian’s Arch and the Temple of Zeus and after to the Constitution square called "Syntagma" where the presidential guard, called "Evzonos", is in front of the Greek parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then we will pass by the Presidential Residence and the Panathinaikos stadium that was originally built in 329aC, where the first Olympics of the modern era in 1896 were held. Dinner and transfer to the Hotel for check in. Overnight in Athens. (Dinner)

2nd day Athens – Delphi

Breakfast and today you will explore the most famous sights of ancient Greece on this day trip to magical Delphi, where the oracle once fore. Departing from Athens, travel to Delphi, located on the spur of Mount Parnassus, enjoying a short stop in the picturesque town of Arachova. Arrive in Delphi, and visit the famous theatre, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and get an insight into the world of the Ancient Greeks. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the center of Ancient Greece, and best-known for its famous oracle. Tour the Museum of Delphi, home to a unique bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx, and the Statue of Antinoos, providing an amazing insight into Ancient Greek culture and history. Then we will make a stop at the beautiful mountain village of Arachova, which called “the Mykonos of the winter”situated on the hills of the Parnassus Mountains. Lunch. Dinner. Overnight Delphi. 3rd day: Delphi – Parnassos ski resort – Arachova - Delphi

Breakfast and transfer to the ski resort of the mount of Arachova, Parnassos, which is one of the largest ski resorts in the country. Arachova Village is located on the slopes of Parnassus Mountain at an altitude of 1000 meters. Because of its panoramic view, uphill small houses, and cobbled streets, during the last decade, it has been transformed into a cosmopolitan center of winter holidays. The high altitude as well as the traditional architecture make Arachova Village one of the most picturesque mountain villages of Greece. Lunch and transfer to hotel. Overnight Delphi. 4th day Delphi – Karpenisi - Delphi

Breakfast and then transfer to the ski center of Karpenisi. Then transfer to the village of Karpenisi, which sits on the mountain of Timfristos, in the central Greece. There we will take a walk around the square to see the monuments, the statues of Antonis Katsantonis and Markos Botsaris (heroes of the 1821 Greek Revolution), the church of Agia Triada and the plane trees and icy mountain-water spring. Lunch. Make a stop at Palaio Mikro Chorio (translated Old Small Village), it’s a description that perfectly fits this printersquare nature of the settlement. Then transfer to Delphi. Dinner. 5th day Delphi - Athens

Breakfast and transfer to Athens. Arrival in Athens and get ready for the most amazing city tour through history and gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city!! First stop, Acropolis with the Architectural Masterpieces in the world of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Only 300m. away from the sacred rock of Acropolis stands the impressive New Acropolis Museum where at last 4000 priceless statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era. Lunch. 6th day Athens - Departure

Breakfast and transfer to airport to take your flight back home. (Breakfast)
