Today, proceed in a guided tour of Toledo. See the most famous monuments during a walking tour of the city centre, including St Tome Church, Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue, San Juan delos Reyes Church, Museo Victorio Macho and the Cathedral. Also visit sword making factory where you will be shown how the swords are made. The Factory houses museum of traditional swords. Later drive back to Madrid. Upon arrival on a guided tour of Madrid, see Puerta del Sol, Cibeles Squares, Plaza Espana and Las Ventas bullring. Drive through the main streets and see the Neptune Fountain, Alcala Street and Gran Via – most popular commercial street for a real taste of Spain. Today, proceed to Parque Europa the largest theme park in Madrid, this is a picturesque park consisting of small-scale replicas of many of European monuments and buildings like the Brandemburg gate, the Mermaid, Eiffel Tower, London Bridge, Fontana de Trevi, the Atomium. Later drive to Salamanca – an ancient and gorgeous city. On arrival proceed in a guided city tour of Salamanca. Later, visit the Plaza Mayor which is the city’s crowning glory – built by Alberto and Nicolas Churriguera, it is widely thought the most beautiful Plaza Mayor in Spain. Today, drive towards Portugal. Before arriving into Lisbon, melt into the stream of pilgrims from all over the world as you visit the Sanctuary of our Lady of the Rosary in Fatima – one of the most important shrines of the world dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Later, drive to Lisbon, capital of Portugal, located on the north bank of the river Tagus. A city set on seven hills, as the legend tells, with its cobble stoned pavements and narrow streets full of Art Nouveau cafés promises a lot to discover. Overnight in Lisbon. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Today, on a guided tour of Lisbon, see the Jeronimos Monastery, Padrão dos Descobrimentos, Praça do Comércio, Rossio Square and Abril Bridge. Next visit the Belém Tower which is located on the banks of the Tagus River – one of the iconic landmark of Lisbon. Here you will taste Lisbon’s famous Pastel Du Belem- a Portuguese tart pastry dusted with cinnamon. Later visit to Cascais & Estroil beaches that are situated on the beautiful Lisbon coastline. Today, drive to Seville – Spain’s fourth largest city and the capital of Andalusia. It is one of the most alluring cities in Europe. On guided city tour of Seville, see the cathedral, which is the largest and highest cathedral in Spain and where the mortal vestiges Christopher Columbus are kept. See the Giralda, adjacent to the cathedral, a splendid example of Moorish art and now a symbol of Seville. Later visit Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza de Cabellería de Sevilla – the oldest bullring in Spain. Spend some time to stroll along the busy Santa Cruz quarter. It is impossible to resist the charm of this district with its winding alleys, its picturesque lime washed houses, its delicate hardly visible flowery patios and its small squares. Today, drive to the Rock of Gibraltar, in British hands since 1704. Upon arrival, proceed on a Guided tour of Gibraltar. Today, proceed to Bunol to take part at the highlight of this tour – The La Tomatina festival!! The tomato fight has been a strong tradition in Bunol since 1944 or 1945. No one is completely certain how this event originated. Possible theories on how the Tomatina began including a local food fight among friends, a juvenile class war, a volley of tomatoes from bystanders at a carnival parade, a practical joke on a bad musician, and the anarchic aftermath of an accidental lorry spillage. One popular theory is that disgruntled townspeople attacked city councilmen with tomatoes during a town celebration. Today, proceed in a half day excursion to Montserrat Mountains where you will visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat with its 12th- century carving of the Black Virgin. Next, we visit FC Barcelona stadium which is the largest in all of Europe. Do not miss this fantastic opportunity to retrace the footsteps of legendary players from past and present on this tour through Barcelona Camp Nou football stadium. Later, drive back Barcelona on arrival proceed to guided city tour. Visit the magnificence of the 14th century gothic cathedral, the unfinished glory of Gaudi’s controversial Sagrada Familia. Stroll through the lively Ramblas, the city’s most spirited street with its colorful flower stalls and markets to the Christopher Colombus monument near the waterfront.
